A haiku for the seasons

A haiku for the seasons
It's Christmas Day, who wouldn't laugh!
I sit here wishing for a white Christmas, as well as for more order and beauty in the world
Worn, run, overwrought; unplowed, never left fallow. Lifeless until Spring.
Rain, snow, and sleet thread through curling fingers.
