I would like to thank David L. O’Nan and Fevers of the Mind for including me in their “Wolfpack,” a collection of writers David has invited to participate in the artists’ community he and others are building at Fevers of the Mind, and, today, I specifically wish to thank them for publishing my poem “Our Odysseus,” about soldiers and other types of warriors who may travel roughly home to a people who no longer welcome them, who no longer know how to embrace them, whom these warriors no longer know how to embrace.
