A Publishing Journey, #31: Poem “A Man of Bethsaida”

Earlier this year, The Poetry Pub and Fevers of the Mind separately published my poem “Salt.” This poem is critical of Evangelicals, among other things.

On August 10, LogoSophia Magazine published my poem “A Man of Bethsaida.” This poem is quite favorable toward Evangelism.

I cannot stress the difference between these two nouns enough.

“A Man of Bethsaida” is a free verse poem inspired by Matthew 11 and Luke 10 in the Holy Bible. I wrote the first draft of this poem while I was doing devotions sometime in December 2019.

You can read “A Man of Bethsaida” on LogoSophia‘s website.

You can read Luke 10 at BibleGateway.
