Thank you, Fernando Fidanza, for teaming up with The Dark Sire Literary Magazine and turning my poem “The Reaper’s Revelation,” published in The Dark Sire‘s Winter 2019 issue, into a sort of folk metal song in your YouTube series Old Folk for New Poets! I especially enjoy the way Fernando’s song reinterprets my poem even as it uses my exact words, reinterprets it by the parts it leaves out and by the way Fernando performs. I like the result.
